Fork & Cork
Lookin for something to do in April? Come to downtown Blacksburg on the 22nd for the annual Fork & Cork Festival. With over 20 wineries, local vendors, and delicious food, you don't want to miss it!
Steppin' Out
On August 4 & 5, 2023. This festival, located in Downtown Blacksburg. Steppin' Out is known for live music, good food, and tons of booths and tents with unique handcrafted items for sale.
Huckleberry Trail
The Huckleberry Trail is a 15-mile paved trail that connects Blacksburg and Christiansburg. The trail can be used as a fun scenic route when you are biking, walking, or jogging.

Just outside Blacksburg lies Pandapas Pond. This 8-acre pond is a popular destination for hiking, biking, fishing, horseback riding, camping, and more!
Cascade Falls
McAfee Knob
Looking over the scenice Catawba Valley is McAfee Knob. This spot involves an 8.3-mile round trip hike, and it leads to a natural rock ledge. It is one of the most photographed spots on the Virginia leg of the Appalachian Trail.
Claytor Lake
Dragon's Tooth
This 4.5-mile hike features some of Southwest Virginia's beautiful Appalachian views. Dragon's Tooth is generally considered one of the more difficult hikes in the area, but don't let that scare you!

Natural Bridge
As the namesake for Natural Bridge, Virginia, this area features a 215-foot-tall limestone gorge that was carved out by Cedar Creek. Hiking trails, a 30-foot cascade, and more are located in this state park.

The Roanoke Valley is known as America’s East Coast Mountain Biking Capital. It is an IMB Silver-Level Ride Center, as well as a part of the TransAmerica Bicycle Trail.
